When you get to our office, you will be greeted by a warm welcome and a friendly "hello", filtered cold water, hot coffee, hot chocolate and other refreshments available in our reception area along with HDTV and a short wait.
Your first exam and cleaning time will be approximately an hour and a half and will consist of a thorough Health History, recommended digital x-rays, and assessment of your periodontal health (health of your gums). If your periodontal health is good, a regular dental cleaning will be provided. If your periodontal status is more complicated, the proper cleaning will be discussed in detail and may be provided at this first visit.
During the exam portion of your visit, the dentist will provide a detailed exam, including an oral cancer screening and exam for cavities. After we have the appropriate diagnostic information, a Treatment Plan will be formulated and discussed.
Just a reminder if you are one of us who need a little help relaxing at the dentist, we offer Nitrous Oxide Sedation, TVs, headphones and Conscious Sedation along with a friendly staff.
